M2MS Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 21 686 564 894) is the Australian company of the M2M Solutions group. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean M2MS Australia Pty Ltd. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and in the course of our work, how we use it and who we share it with.

We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1. What we collect

Information you give us:

• Your name, company, email address and phone number
• Anything you write when you use a contact form, email us, call us or meet us at an event
• Business contact details and operational information you share during an assessment or a project. This is also covered by the confidentiality terms of our agreement with you

Information collected automatically:

• When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure
• It also records aggregate visit statistics, such as page views and referring sites. These statistics measure overall traffic. They are not used to build a profile of you or to follow you across visits

You can browse this website without telling us who you are.

This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies, so we do not show a cookie banner.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

• The M2M Solutions group. M2MS Australia is part of the M2M Solutions group, based in Žilina, Slovakia. Enquiries, assessments and projects often involve the group's product and engineering teams, so we share the relevant contact and project information with them
• Service providers that host this website and provide our email and business software
• Technology and delivery partners, where a project calls for it and you have agreed
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants
• Authorities, where the law requires it

5. Overseas disclosure

Personal information may be stored or accessed outside Australia. The M2M Solutions group operates in Slovakia, in the European Union, where the General Data Protection Regulation applies. Our hosting, email and software providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to this website and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. After that we delete or de-identify it.

• Access: ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete
• Deletion: ask us to delete information we hold about you. We will do so unless we need to keep it by law or for a current contract
